Transfer Update: Former NPFL Star Joins TP Mazembe

Former African champions TP Mazembe intensified its preparations for the forthcoming CAF Confederation Cup group stage with the acquisition of another attacker, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The DR Congo side on Thursday afternoon announced the signing of former Nigeria Professional Football League star Stephen Gopey.

Gopey represented Lobi Stars of Markudi in the league before moving to the Ukrainian league but had to return home due to the Russian invasion of the country.

The 23-year-old forward will represent Mazembe in the Confederation Cup as he has been registered for the tournament.
