Transfer Update: Former NPFL Top Scorer Joins Remo Stars

Ahead of the resumption of the second stanza of the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League season, teams have intensified their preparations to have a decent outing, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Remo Stars of Ikenne on Friday announced the acquisition of the former league top scorer Junior Lokosa.

Lokosa hit the limelight in the league in the 2017/2018 season winning the top scorer award with Kano Pillars and the performance earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles.

He joined the Esperance of Tunisia but the incessant injury scuttled his progress with the club, he also moved to the Tanzania side Simba SC before finally returning home.

Lokosa represented Kwara United last season and his move to Remo stars is expected to be a big plus for the Ikenne-based club.
