Transfer Update: Former NPFL Top Scorer Set To Join South Africa Side

Former Enyimba International forward Chijioke Akunneto is set to join the arrays of Nigeria stars plying their trade in the South African Premier League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Akunneto netted 19 goals in 2022 while representing Enyimba and Rivers United before departing the country.

According to the update from South Africa, Akunneto is presently undergoing trials with Sekukhune United.

The player took part in some friendly games with the club and all is set for the player to sign a deal with the club.
