Transfer Update: Former U23 Star Joins Turkish Lig Side

To rejuvenate his dwindling career, former Nigeria's U23 star player Aminu Umar has joined Turkish second-tier side, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

Umar has been on the payroll of the Turkish Super Lig side Caykur Rizespor but seems to fall down the pecking order in recent times.

Turkish Lig club Bodrumspor on Thursday announced the capture of the Nigerian star through its social media handle.

" Welcome, Aminu Umar.

Finally, we signed a contract with Nigerian football player Aminu Umar who plays for Caykur Rizespor.

We wish success to Aminu Umar under our jersey", the club said.

Since leaving Nigeria in 2013 after playing for Wikki Tourists in the league, Aminu has played all his professional football in Turkey.
