Transfer Update: French Ligue 1 Giants Agree Deal To Sign Super Eagles Midfielder

French Ligue 1 powerhouse Olympique Marseille have reached an agreement to sign Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nadi from Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former European champions have reportedly agreed a deal worth $6 million for the Nigerian international, who was part of the Super Eagles squad that finished third at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Nadi has impressed with his consistent performances in Belgium, establishing himself as one of Zulte Waregem’s key midfielders with his blend of energy, ball recovery and tactical discipline, which attracted interest from several European clubs.

Marseille, however, moved swiftly to secure his signature as part of their squad reinforcement plans ahead of the second half of the season and upcoming European campaigns.

The deal is expected to be completed in the coming days, pending medicals and personal terms, with an official announcement from both clubs anticipated soon.
