Where Nigeria's Super Eagle star Bright Osayi Samuel will play his football next season is still unknown as French Ligue 2 side Troyes opened discussions with Fenerbahce for his services, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Turkish Super Lig side has indicated an interest in selling the Nigerian star this season to balance its book going into the new season.

Scottish giant Glasgow Rangers remained the front-runner to secure his signature but the coming to Troyes may change the situation of the whole thing.

The 25-year-old started just 10 out of a possible 38 games in the Turkish Super Lig last season and registered one assist.

 Osayi-Samuel was called up to the Super Eagles squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone.
