Transfer Update: French Ligue One Side Capture Flying Eagles Star

French Ligue One club OGC Nice has announced the acquisition of Nigeria's Flying Eagles star Victor Orakpo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The youngster has been on trial with the French side in the past weeks and his performance during the trial seems to have convinced the French club.

"OGC Nice is pleased to announce the signing of Victor Orakpo, 18-year-old Nigerian striker", the club announced.

Victor was part of the under-20 team under coach Ladan Bosso and his performance with the national side attracted the interest of the municipal side.

Victor will be the second Nigerian in the club with Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi.
