Transfer Update: Galatasaray Eye Super Eagles Forward

Sampson Adedeji

The latest update coming from the Turkish Super Lig indicated that Nigeria's Super Eagles and US Cremonese forward, Cyril Dessers l, might be on his way to the league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dessers joined the newly promoted Italian Serie A side last summer from the Belgian Jupiler league side KRC Genk after a successful loan spell with the Dutch club Feyenoord.

Despite missing numerous games for Cremonese due to injury, Dessers has been able to show his scoring ability for the club.

The Istanbul club is preparing for the departure of Argentine striker Mauro Icardi whose contract will end on June 30, 2023, and Dessers has been seen as the ideal replacement.

The Nigerian striker has a contract that runs until 2027 Cremonese and has 5 goals in 20 games this season.

It remains to be seen whether the Cremonese would agree to lose one of their top scorers.
