Transfer Update: Inter Milan Submits Improved Offer For Lookman

Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman is edging closer to a move to Inter Milan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nerazzurri have submitted a fresh bid to Atalanta for the Nigerian international, bringing their offer nearer to the €50 million valuation set by La Dea. Inter’s initial €40 million bid was rejected, but the Milan-based club has returned with an improved proposal.

According to reports, Inter president Giuseppe Marotta and Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi held discussions over the transfer during a meeting on the sidelines of the Serie A League Council.

“I don’t hide the fact that in the next two or three days we will reach the end of the discussions with Atalanta. If the conditions are right, we will start a full negotiation and perhaps we will reach a final conclusion, otherwise, we will make a different choice,” Marotta told Sky Italia.
