Transfer Update: Italian Serie A Club Acquires David Okereke

Just as reported, Italian Serie A side US Cremonese has acquired the services of Nigeria International David Okereke from the Belgian Jupiler league side Club Brugge, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

The former Dream Team striker spent last season on loan with Serie A side Venezia and he was able to score seven goals for the club despite their relegation.

Cremonese on Thursday afternoon confirmed the acquisition of the striker.

" US Cremonese announce that it has definitively acquired the right to David Okereke's sports performances from Club Brugge," the statement read.

Okereke is not new to Italian football apart from playing for Venezia last season, he has played for Lavagnese and then to Spezia, with the Ligurian team he made his debut in Serie B in 2016 and reached 59 appearances, scoring 11 goals. 

He played 71 games for Club Brugge and scored 15 goals.
