Nigerian international Ademola Lookman is set for a potential winter transfer exit from Atalanta Bergamo, as reports suggest he has reached an agreement with Turkish giants Galatasaray, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to Turkish publication Fanatik, Lookman has accepted Galatasaray’s proposal, which includes an annual salary package worth €9 million (approximately 5.85 billion FCFA).

The Turkish Super Lig champions are now preparing to submit a formal bid to Atalanta. Italian outlet Calciomercato reports that Galatasaray is ready to table a €40 million offer in hopes of sealing the deal during the January window.

Lookman has been one of Atalanta’s most influential players since his arrival, earning plaudits for consistent performances across domestic and European competitions.

Negotiations between both clubs are expected to intensify in the coming weeks. If finalized, the move would mark one of the biggest transfers involving a Nigerian player in recent seasons.
