Transfer Update: Lookman Tells Atalanta He Wants Inter Move

Nigerian international Ademola Lookman has made his intentions clear to Atalanta, expressing his desire to join Serie A giants Inter Milan after agreeing personal terms with the club on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Multiple sources confirm that talks are ongoing between Lookman and Inter, with renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosing that the forward has formally communicated his decision to Atalanta.

 “Ademola Lookman, keen on Inter move after further contacts tonight with his camp. He told Atalanta he wants to leave,” Romano posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Inter are expected to submit an official offer soon, but Atalanta are holding out for a fee exceeding €40 million from Italian clubs, and are reportedly demanding around €50 million for the reigning African Footballer of the Year.

While Atalanta are open to selling the pacey winger, they would prefer to offload him to a foreign club rather than strengthen a direct domestic rival.
