Transfer Update: Major European Teams Enter Race For Flying Eagle Star

The outstanding performance of Nigeria's Flying Eagles defender Benjamin Fredrick in the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina is attracting interest from the major European clubs, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian team has been tremendous since the start of the competition in Argentina winning 3 out of the 4 games they've played so far.

The centre-back Fredrick has been noticed as one of the key players in the team and many believe that his absence was one of the major reasons the team lost the final group game to Brazil.

As of Thursday afternoon, English champions Manchester City, German champions Bayern Munich, and Spanish side Villareal have joined the likes of Anderlecht, and RB Leipzig who has earlier signified interest in his services.

Frederick who was amazing in the second-round game against Argentina is expected to be in action again on Sunday for the quarter-final.
