Transfer Update: Marseille Target Super Eagles Defender Torunarigha

Olympique Marseille are reportedly eyeing a move for Nigeria international Jordan Torunarigha, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The KAA Gent centre-back is nearing the end of his contract and is not expected to sign a new deal, paving the way for a potential free transfer this summer.

Marseille have identified the 27-year-old as a key defensive target, as reported by Berliner Kurier.

Torunarigha, who joined Gent from Hertha Berlin in 2022, has made 98 league appearances for the Belgian club under Danijel Milicevic.

Last summer, the defender was linked with a return to Germany and also drew interest from Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Leeds United, but ultimately chose to stay in Belgium.

With his contract set to expire, the race is heating up for the experienced Super Eagles defender as the summer transfer window approaches.
