Transfer Update: Moroccan Giants Raja Casablanca Target Super Eagles Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabal

Moroccan heavyweights Raja Casablanca are set to make a move for Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali as they continue their squad overhaul ahead of the 2025/2026 Botola League season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After failing to land their initial target, the Casablanca-based club has now turned its attention to Nwabali, who has grown in stature following his standout performances at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Sources reveal that Raja’s board has finalized plans to open talks with Chippa United, Nwabali’s South African club, this week over a potential transfer.

If the deal goes through, the 27-year-old will become the second Nigerian to join the club this season, following the arrival of midfielder Moses Orkuma.
