Transfer Update: Nigeria's Ugochukwu Sign Contract Extension With Rennes

France's born Nigeria descent, Lesley Ugochukwu has signed a contract extension with the French Ligue one club Stade De Rennes, BSNsports.com.ng report.

The 18-year-old youngster was born in Rennes and he signed his first professional contract with the club in 2020.

He impressed in the just concluded season making 22 appearances in the league and 4 appearances in the UEFA Conference League.

Ugochukwu while reacting to the development said it's a dream come true for him and his family.

" This extension means a lot to my family & myself. It's a real sign of confidence from Stade Rennais FC I've already realized a childhood dream by walking the lawn of Roazhon Park, now my goal is to win and be part of the eleven too many times. 

"It's up to me to do everything to restore that confidence on the pitch," he said.
