Transfer Update: Nigerian Forward Joins Danish Club
By Sampson Adedeji
Nigerian forward Monday Etim has joined Hillerod Fodbold in the Danish League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The club confirms that it has bought the 25-year-old offensive player on a free transfer from FC Helsingør and gave him a two-year contract.
"We looked for one or more people who could take over. On Monday, we get a player who can do a bit of everything - he can play right up front and at the same time come from the side.
His speed is fierce, and in our environment with the staff behind him, we will see a completely different player. I am incredibly happy that we managed to get Monday to HFE.
He can become important for our already exciting offensive. I could feel on Monday all the way through how much he wanted to play for us - that is very important in our system, and it has been reciprocated.
I have high expectations of him, and I know he can fulfill them", says Hillerød director Jackie Rasmussen.
Etim gets jersey number nine in Hillerød.
