Transfer Update: Nigerian Forward Joins Portuguese Club

Nigerian forward Chukwudi Igbokwe has secured a move to the Portuguese Primera League side Rio Ave on a 2-year deal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 222-year-old attacker played for the Belgian Jupiler League side KAA Gent last season.

He departed the Buffalo following the expiration of his contract with the club.

" Rio Ave Futebol Clube – Futebol, SAD reached an agreement with athlete Chukwudi Igbokwe to sign a contract valid until June 2026.", the statement stated.

Igbokwe has played for the U23 team before departing Nigeria.
