Transfer Update: Nigerian Forward Set To Join Libyan Giant
Sampson Adedeji
Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli are on the verge of completing the signing of Nigerian forward Stanley Ogoh from Tunisian side ES Zarzis, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The deal is expected to see Ogoh join the Tripoli-based club on a two-and-a-half-year contract, as negotiations between both parties have reached an advanced stage.
Ogoh has been one of the standout performers for ES Zarzis this season, scoring five goals in 13 league appearances in the Tunisian top flight.
His consistent displays in front of goal have not gone unnoticed, attracting strong interest from clubs outside Tunisia.
Al Ahli Tripoli are keen to strengthen their attacking options as they push for domestic and continental success, and the Nigerian forward is viewed as a key addition ahead of the second half of the season.
An official announcement is expected once final formalities are concluded.
