Transfer Update: Nigerian Midfielder Walkout On Zamalek

Nigerian-eligible midfielder Ovie Ejaria has left Egypt after a discussion broke down between his representative and Zamalek SC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Liverpool attacker arrived in Egypt on Thursday morning ahead of the historical move to the Egyptian giant.

But the hierarchy of Zamalek insisted that Ejaria must undergo a 10-day compulsory trial to ascertain his fitness level.

Ejaria and his representative considered the decision disrespectful and decided to pull out of the move.

He departed Egypt back to England on Friday evening.
