Transfer Update: Nigerian Star Joins Serie A Giant

Nigerian youngster Rafiu Durosinmi has completed a move to Italian Serie A side Pisa SC from Czech Republic outfit Viktoria Plzen, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 23-year-old centre-forward, who celebrated his birthday just last week, had attracted interest across Europe after entering the final months of his contract with Viktoria Plzen, which is set to expire at the end of the current season.

Sensing an opportunity to strengthen their attacking options, Serie A strugglers Pisa moved swiftly to secure the services of the Nigerian, reaching an agreement with both the player and his club.

Durosinmi enjoyed an impressive campaign with Viktoria Plzen, scoring 13 goals in 32 competitive appearances across all competitions.

 His standout performances included a memorable goal in Plzen’s 2–1 Europa League victory over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in October.

The move to Italy represents a significant step in Durosinmi’s career, as he now looks to make his mark in one of Europe’s top five leagues and help Pisa in their battle for stability in Serie A.
