Transfer Update: Nigerian Star To Join Tanzania Side

Ahead of the new Tanzanian League season Ihefu FC continue to strengthen its team to contend with Simba SC and Yanga SC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The modest club side has agreed on terms to sign Nigerian star Victor Akpan on a permanent move.

Akpan played Ihefu last season on loan from the league giant Simba SC and he was able to distinguish himself.

Akpan returned to his parent club at the end of last season and after a discussion with Simba management, he decided to terminate his contract after his regular playing time is not guaranteed.

He returned to Tanzania last week after observing his summer break in Nigeria and is set to sign a year deal with Ihefu FC.
