Transfer Update: Nigerian Striker Delighted With Famalicao Move

New Famalicao signing Umar Abubakar has shared his excitement after completing a move to the Portuguese club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The prolific Nigerian forward, who has previously represented the country at U-17 and U-20 levels, spoke positively about the new chapter in his career.

"I'm thrilled to have signed for Futebol Clube de Famalicão," Abubakar said.

 "I know it’s a good team with quality players, many of whom are young, and it’s led by a strong coaching staff."

He also praised the club’s competitive record in Portuguese football, adding that it offers excellent facilities that will help players improve their performance.

Looking ahead, Abubakar expressed his desire to adapt quickly to his new surroundings.

"I hope to integrate into the team as soon as possible and be part of a strong group. I’m committed to working hard and contributing to a successful season."
