The Chief Executive Officer of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League side OH Leuven Federic Van Dee Steen has revealed the reason they signed former Nigeria's Flying Eagles Star Chibukwuikem Ikwuemesi, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ikwuemesi was signed on Wednesday evening from the Italian Serie A side Salernitana on a 3-year deal.

The CEO said they have confidence in his ability and his youthfulness will also help their team.

"Ikwuemesi is a young player with enormous potential and room for growth. His profile gives us a lot of options in the offensive line. 

We are very happy with his arrival, but the most important thing is that the player was very hungry to come to OH Leuven.
