Transfer Update: Okereke Close To Turkey Switch

Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas have intensified its effort to get the services of Nigerian international David Okereke, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former U23 International represented the Italian side US Cremonese last season but the team suffered relegation at the end of the season.

Okereke was one of the outstanding players in the team despite suffering relegation and top teams across Europe have shown interest in getting him.

Sources close to the club report that the Nigerian player's arrival at BeÅŸiktaÅŸ was initially conditional on the departure of Congolese striker Jackson Muleka. 

However, that no longer appears to be the case now and negotiations between the two clubs have reached greater height and a deal could be agreed upon very soon.
