Transfer Update: Onazi Returns To Italy

Former Super Eagles vice captain Ogenyi Onazi has made a sensational return to Italy after he joined Serie D side Casertana FC, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

The former Golden Eaglets first appearance in the land of the Azzuris was in 2011 when he joined Lazio and spent five years with the club.

With Lazio, he played vital role and has the decisive goal against Napoli which in 2015 allowed the Biancocelesti to return to the Champions League after eight years of absence.

Casertana FC announced his acquisition on Sunday and he will be presented to the press on Monday.

" Casertana FC is pleased to announce that it has ensured the sports performance of Ogenyi Eddy Onazi," the club said.

Onazi who was part of the victorious Super Eagles team of 2013 has also played in Turkey and Lithuania in the past.
