Transfer Update: Onuachu Set To Finalise Trabzonspor Move Next Week

Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu is expected to arrive in Turkey on Monday to complete his permanent move to Turkish Süper Lig side Trabzonspor, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Southampton confirmed on Friday that they had reached an agreement with Trabzonspor for the transfer of the Nigerian forward.

Onuachu is no stranger to the Black Sea Storm, having enjoyed a successful loan spell with the club during the 2023/24 season, where he netted 17 goals in 25 appearances across all competitions.

Despite their efforts, Trabzonspor failed to secure his permanent transfer last summer, but the deal has now been revived.

Onuachu leaves Southampton after spending two-and-a-half seasons at St Mary’s Stadium.
