Transfer Update: Orlando Pirates Not Ready Releasing Olisa Ndah To Sassuolo

The management of the South African premier league side Orlando Pirates has insisted that they will not allow Nigeria International Olisa Ndah to leave the club until they find an adequate replacement for him, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

Ndah joined the South African club in 2021 from the Nigeria Professional Football League side Akwa United and has already racked up over 47 appearances for the Soweto giants. 

His fine form has caught the eye of a big European team, especially Italian Serie A side Sassuolo who has tabled an offer for him.

He attracted a lot of interest in his first few games with the club and already the management knew that he was not going to last.”

“Sassuolo has offered them (Orlando Pirates) good money for his services, I don’t think any team would want to decline it.

“It is a good offer and the club is willing to let him go, but they won’t just let him go without having plans for a replacement.

“The club was struggling centre-backs for a long time and after finding Ndah things became better.

“So, those are some of the things that the club is looking for. There needs to be a proper replacement, and it is going to be tough to find someone like him (Ndah)", news outlet Citizens confirmed.
