Transfer Update: Osimhen To Join Premier League Club Next Season

Despite signing a 2-year extension with the Italian champions Napoli, the English premier league move for Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is still very much alive, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian International signed a new deal with the Serie A giant on Saturday with a huge salary increase and also with a $130 million release clause.

The reports coming from Italy indicated that Osimhen's agent Roberto Calenda has commenced underground work to see the smooth movement of his client to the premier league by next season.

Chelsea are currently in pole position to sign the 24-year-old and Arsenal also showing a strong interest in having him.

The release clause is considered a fair one for both parties.
