Transfer Update: Osimhen To Sign 2-Year Extension With Napoli Before Xmas

After a long period of discussion and negotiations, the management of the Italian Serie A champions Napoli and a representative of the Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen have finally reached an agreement on a contract extension, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Both parties have been locked in the transfer negotiations in the past months without a logical conclusion.

The long tail of negotiations led to speculations that the Nigerian International might be on his way out of the club with a major English Premier League club on his trail.

The Partnopei president Aurelio De Laurentiis on Friday finally announced that the deal has been agreed upon and will be official before Christmas.

The new contract entails that Osimhen will stay until 2026 and he will earn a massive increase in Salary.

Osimhen is expected with the club during the January winter transfer window and the release clause has also been confirmed.
