The head coach of the Australian women club side Perth Glory, Stephen Peters has revealed the reason they signed Nigeria's Super Falcons defender Onyinyechi Zogg, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Glory on Tuesday announced the arrival of the Nigerian International and the coach said her wealth of experience will be a valuable asset to the club. "Onyinyechi is a really technical and athletic defender who has performed at the very highest level in Europe and we are thrilled to have secured her services. “We certainly feel that she has the potential to make a major impression in the ALW this year. “Her pedigree makes her a great addition to our squad and we hope that she develops into a defensive cornerstone for the club in the upcoming season and possibly beyond", he said. The Swiss-born Zogg made her Nigeria debut in 2021.
