Portuguese Primeira Liga side Famalicao has submitted an official offer for Nigerian youngster Umar Abubakar, following his impressive campaign in Belgium with Jong KAA Gent, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 19-year-old forward lit up the Belgian league last season, netting an impressive 21 goals in 27 appearances. After days of negotiations, both clubs reached an agreement on Monday, with Famalicao set to pay €600,000 for the striker’s services.

Reports from Portugal indicate that Umar will join Famalicao’s first team ahead of the new season.
