Transfer Update: RC Lens Sporting Director Excited Over Permanent Signing Of Nigerian Forward

RC Lens Sporting Director, Martin Ericcson, has expressed his excitement after securing the permanent signing of Nigerian forward Jeremy Agbonifo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Agbonifo joined Lens on loan from Swedish club BK Häcken for the second half of last season and impressed during his six-month stint.

His performances convinced the French Ligue 1 club to activate the purchase option included in the deal.

“Jeremy perfectly represents the type of player we want to develop. His signing proves that our model is working both on the pitch and in terms of financial strategy,” Ericcson stated.

Agbonifo, who had two spells with BK Häcken, was also previously on the books of Portuguese giants FC Porto.
