Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has emerged as a prime transfer target for Ligue 1 side Rennes, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Fenerbahce right-back is expected to depart the Turkish giants this summer after contract renewal talks reportedly broke down.

Rennes are eyeing Osayi-Samuel as a potential replacement for Lorenz Assignon, who is on the verge of joining Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart.

The French club is said to admire Osayi-Samuel’s versatility—a quality that has also attracted interest from several other European sides.

Premier League team Crystal Palace are also monitoring his situation closely.

Osayi-Samuel made the switch to Fenerbahce from Queens Park Rangers in 2021.
