Transfer Update: Rivers United Splashes $50k On Watanga FC Forward

To strengthen the team's attack ahead of the new 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season, champions Rivers United has captured Liberian forward Albert Korvah, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Pride of Rivers defeated Watanga FC of Liberia 3-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

After winning the league last season some players left the team for greener pastures and the management has been working hard to replace them.

 The club has secured the services of Korvah on a 3-year deal worth $50,000 and he will earn #800, 000 as a monthly salary.
