Following his impressive performances in the ongoing Turkish Super Lig season for Trabzonspor, Saudi Arabia Pro League side Al Ahli have tabled an offer for Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The towering forward has been in scintillating form since his return to the Turkish topflight, rediscovering the goalscoring touch that made him one of the most feared strikers in Europe during his time in Belgium.

Onuachu is currently the leading scorer in the Turkish Super Lig with 17 goals, underlining his importance to Trabzonspor’s campaign this season. 

His aerial dominance, physical presence, and clinical finishing have made him a standout performer in the league.

Sources close to the situation indicate that Al Ahli are keen to bolster their attacking options and see the Nigerian international as a key addition ahead of the new season. 

The Saudi side are reportedly prepared to meet Trabzonspor’s valuation as they continue their ambitious recruitment drive.

Trabzonspor are yet to make an official statement regarding the offer, but losing their top scorer at this stage of the season would represent a significant blow to their title aspirations.

Onuachu, who remains a vital member of Nigeria’s Super Eagles setup, will now face a crucial decision over whether to continue his resurgence in Turkey or make a lucrative switch to the Saudi Pro League.
