Spanish La Liga side Sevilla are reportedly set to part ways with Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke as part of a major squad shake-up ahead of the 2025/26 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ejuke, joined the Andalusian club on a free transfer last summer after the expiration of his contract with Russian giants CSKA Moscow.

However, his debut campaign in Spain yielded modest returns, with just two goals and one assist in 25 league appearances.

Injuries and recurring fitness issues, including a hamstring problem, hampered the Super Eagles forward throughout the season, limiting his ability to establish a consistent role in the team.

With Sevilla facing financial constraints and planning significant changes to their squad, offloading players has become a priority.

The club is reportedly open to offers for Ejuke, who is currently valued at €4 million by Transfermarkt.

The seven-time UEFA Europa League champions are aiming to free up resources for new signings, and Ejuke is seen as one of the expendable assets in their bid to balance the books.
