Transfer Update: Sheriff Tiraspol Captures Nigerian Forward

Moldova Premier League side Sheriff Tiraspol has confirmed the capture of Nigeria forward Iyayi Atimven, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.



Born in 1996 in Lagos, Atimven began his European career in 2016, when he moved to Turkey. Two years later he moved to Croatia, where he played for Gorica, Lokomotiv and Dynamo Zagreb. 


In Croatia, he became the champion and won the Cup and the Super Cup. 


"Nigerian striker Iyayi Atimven became another newcomer to our team. The player passed a medical examination and signed an agreement with the club, becoming a full-fledged part of the friendly family of FC Sheriff," club statements read.


Iyayi played four matches in the qualification of the Europa League and 6 matches in the group stage of the League of Conferences for the Cypriots Omonia.
