Transfer Update: Sikiru Alimi, Dimgba Seal Deal With Libyan Club

Libyan Premier League side Darnes SC has announced the signing of former Remo Stars striker Sikiru Alimi, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Alimi left the 'Sky Blue Stars' at the end of last season after helping them secure a spot in the 2022/2023 Confederation Cup scoring nine goals.

Darnes SC finished in the 8th position of the group 1 of the Libyan abridged Premier League last season.

The team on Saturday afternoon announced four players as they continue their readiness for the new season.

Apart from Alimi, Darnes SC also announced another Nigeria international Stanley Dimgba who played for the South African Premier League club Stellenbosch last season.

"Darnes has announced the signing of four foreign players: Stanley Dimgba (from Stellenbosch FC), Franck Engonga (from Tala'ea El Gaish), Alimi Sikiru (from Remo Stars FC) and Wael Ben Moammar (from US Chaouia)," the statement said.
