Transfer Update: Simba SC Releases Former Rivers United Midfielder Okejepha

Tanzanian football giants, Simba SC, have officially parted ways with former Rivers United midfielder Augustine Okejepha after nearly two seasons at the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okejepha made the move to Tanzania following his standout performances for Rivers United in the CAF Confederation Cup.

According to reports, the Simba SC management met on Thursday to discuss squad restructuring ahead of the 2025/2026 campaign.

Following the meeting, the club decided to place the Nigerian midfielder on the transfer list, confirming that he is no longer part of their plans for the new season.
