Transfer Update: St Etienne Captures Another Super Falcons Star

French Feminine club St Etienne has announced the capture of another Nigeria's Super Falcons star Regina Otu on a year deal, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

Otu played for Edo Queens in 2019 and Rivers Angels in 2020 before moving to Europe to join FC Minsk, the club for which she wore the colours for the last two seasons and with which she played in the qualifications for the Women's Champions League.

She was excited about joining the French side and hope to put in her best for the club.

 "I am very happy to sign here because Saint-Étienne is a great club and represents a great step forward in my career. 

"I am very honoured that the coach has placed his trust in me. I will do everything to be up to it and help ASSE find Division 1. This is the level at which a club like this must evolve", she said.

Otu has represented Nigeria's Super Falcons in three Women's African Cup of Nations.
