Transfer Update: Sudanese Club Part Ways With Nigeria Striker

Sudanese Premier League giant Al Merriekh has parted ways with the Nigeria forward Tony Edjomarigwe, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

The former Shooting Stars striker joined the Sudanese side after a successful stint in the Egyptian Premier League.

The club announced his departure on Tuesday evening and wished him all the best in all his endeavours.

" Al Merriekh would like to thank Nigerian striker Tony Edjomrigwe for the time he spent with the team and contributed to his colleague's success and we wish him success in his football career," the club said.

Edjorigwe played an active role in the just concluded Sudanese league season, as they finished in the second position behind Al Hilal despite not losing a single game throughout the season.
