Transfer Update: Super Eagles Defender Ebuehi Set To Join Empoli

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Tyronne Ebuehi set to continue his Serie A sojourn as he's set to join Empoli on a permanent deal, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

Ebuehi spent last season on loan with relegated Venezia and he was amazing for the club despite suffering relegation at the end if the season.

According to report, Ebuehi had retuned to his parent club SL Benfica of Portugal and Empoli seem to have concluded negotiations with the Portuguese side for his signature.

The report further suggest that former ADO Den Haag player will undergo his medical before the end of the week.

Benfica has agreed to his permanent sale on a 3-year deal with the option of 4th year but inserted a buy back clause in the contract.
