Transfer Update: Super Eagles Defender Set For Cardiff Move

English Championship side Cardiff City are on the brink of completing the signing of Nigerian defender Gabriel Osho from French club Auxerre, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osho joined Auxerre on a free transfer last summer following his departure from Luton Town.

Just a year later, he looks set for a return to the Championship, with French outlet L’Équipe confirming Cardiff’s interest.

The 27-year-old is poised to become the Bluebirds’ first outfield signing of the summer.

The Welsh club is keen to inject experience into its youthful squad, and Osho with over 150 senior appearances to his name is seen as an ideal addition.

Capped twice by Nigeria at international level, the centre-back is expected to bring both solidity and leadership to Erol Bulut’s side.
