Transfer Update: Super Eagles Forward Joins Russian Club On Loan

Russian Premier League side FC Krasnodar has confirmed the loan transfer of Nigerian international Olakunle Olusegun to FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Olusegun, a former Golden Eaglets star, initially joined Krasnodar in the 2021/2022 season from Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv.

In an official statement released via its social media pages on Thursday, Krasnodar announced: "Olakunle Olusegun is joining Pari NN on loan. He will spend the rest of the season with the Nizhny Novgorod club. The loan deal runs until June 30, 2026. Olakunle Olusegun has made 100 appearances for Krasnodar, scoring 12 goals and providing 6 assists."

Olusegun made his Super Eagles debut in an international friendly against Russia.
