Super Eagles forward Olusegun Olakunle has completed a transfer to Russian Premier League side FC Rostov ahead of the 2026/27 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian attacker joins Rostov after an impressive spell with fellow Russian club FC Krasnodar, where he established himself as one of the team's key performers with a string of outstanding displays.

The former Golden Eaglets striker will be aiming to build on his impressive form and make an immediate impact at Rostov as the club prepares for the new Russian Premier League campaign.

At the international level, Olakunle has continued to make progress with the Super Eagles, featuring in Nigeria's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches and also representing the three-time African champions in recent international friendly fixtures.
