Transfer Update: Super Eagles Midfielder Joins Japanese Side

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Agu has moved to Japanese side Shonan Bellmare, the club has confirmed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Agu started his foreign adventure with the reserved side of the Portuguese Primera Liga side, FC Porto, in 2012-2015 where he made 65 appearances before joining the first team and playing twice in 2016.

He has played in the Belgium Jupiler league with Club Brugge on loan and for Victoria Setubal twice also on loan.

He finally left Porto in 2019 and joined Victoria Guimaraes where he spent three and spent last season on loan with the Spanish second-tier side Fuenlabrada.

Japanese side confirmed the acquisition of the skilful midfielder and he has also resumed training with the club.
