Transfer Update: Super Eagles Midfielder Joins Portuguese Second Division Side

Former Akwa United midfielder, Alhassan Ibrahim, has completed a move to Portuguese second-tier side, Lusitania De Lourosa, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The skillful midfielder began his European journey in 2017 with Austrian outfit Wien before sealing a switch to Portuguese Primeira Liga side CD Nacional in 2018, where he made 71 appearances and scored twice.

Last season, Ibrahim featured for Leixões, making 17 appearances for the club in the Liga Portugal 2.

He has signed a two-year contract with Lusitania De Lourosa and is expected to play a key role in the club’s push for promotion to the top flight.

He has two caps for the Super Eagles.
