Hull City are on the verge of securing the signing of Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ajayi became a free agent last month after his contract with West Bromwich Albion came to an end.

The experienced center-back had been with the Baggies for six years.

According to Hull Daily Mail, the Tigers are eager to bring in additional defensive depth and view the former Rotherham United man as a strong addition to their squad.
