Former Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo has finalized a switch to Saudi Arabian outfit Al Orobah, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 33-year-old parted ways with Serie B side Salernitana at the end of last season after spending four years with the Italian club, where he notched nine goals in 47 league appearances.

Nwankwo’s most prolific spell came in the 2019/20 campaign, when he scored 20 goals for Crotone, spearheading their promotion to Serie A.

Over the years, he also featured for Parma and Benevento on loan, while starting his European adventure in Portugal with Portimonense and Gil Vicente.

A member of Nigeria’s squad at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Nwankwo brings experience and goal-scoring prowess to his new club in the Saudi Pro League.
